Enlarged pattern and sent to printer for two copies

First copy:

*Using special pattern shears, I cut out each numbered piece of the panel to precision, allowing the eventually foiled pieces to fit precisely together.

These pattern cuts are used when cutting the glass.

Second copy:

This copy is kept intact and used when assembling the panel.

6/27/04

*Cut pattern in preparation for glass cutting.

It is from the cut-out pattern piece that I will cut the glass by placing the pattern piece over the glass and cutting around it.

Purchased all glass

Very pleased with glass for snowcaps, border, water, lettering and sky, and will proceed with cutting, grinding, and foiling.

Was not pleased with glass for land, border corners, sun and card face.  Glass for mountain was "iffy," so will look further.

Placed order for different glass today for these sections.
